CUSHING - Dick D. Juelfs, 86, of Cushing, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, at Golden Horizons Assisted Living of Ida Grove.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., with a Rosary at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Danbury. Father William A. McCarthy will officiate. Committal Services will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery of Mapleton, with Military Rites.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dick’s name may be made to the family to be divided amongst organizations in his beloved Cushing.
